'Midori" Nobuyoshi Araki

Very rare, as new, softcover book with photographs by Araki.  The photographs in Midori possess technical qualities, in particular a sharpness of grain, not present in Araki's previous work. The book's title references a classical heroine of that name from Japanese literature of the Meiji era. The heroine is portrayed here as a discreet young woman. Text and titles in Japanese.
